My Vinyl Order

Vinyl is in - Let the projects begin!

My order of vinyl has finally arrived!  I have  several projects waiting to be finished and many more projects in my head waiting to come alive.  Getting this package was a lot like Christmas morning.

Plus I need to create some “gifts” to place in my new gift wrap closet for those unexpected occasions.

Here are some quick projects I worked on to start filling up that bottom shelf.

My kids are taking their spring break this week.  So I thought this would be a perfect time for my youngest son and I to tackle his bedroom.  It has gotten out of hand….EXTREMELY MESSY.   I’m ashamed that I allowed it to get that bad!  Don’t worry, I won’t be posting any before and after photos.

  3. Adorable! Where did you order your vinyl from? I just got a cricut and am excited about doing some vinyl projects, but don't really want to buy it all from Michael's!

    Thanks for the inspiration!

  4. Where does one get the vinyl and how does one design the letters? Do you have to own a Cricut to do the awesome letter blocks and this awesome project? I hope not, because I really want to do these projects.

  5. Thank you everyone for leaving a comment. I love to hear what ya'll have to say!
Gina~ I ordered my vinyl from Nick @craftvinyl.com but you can find vinyl at Micheal's next to the cricuts (usually in limited colors) Without a cricut machine, you could use stencils and a craft knife to cut out the vinyl. I have the Cricut Expression but there is a small one available. Micheal's also sells precut vinyl letters, sayings, and designs! Have you seen some of the subway art that's been done in blog~land? I have seen a few that have been done with computer print outs or I just saw a monogrammed plate using a napkin and Mod-Podge but looked like vinyl! Hope that gives you some ideas.
